The traditional holiday region for your bed & breakfast and apartment holiday in South Tyrol
Spoilt by the sun, on the southern side of the Zillertal Alps, you find the Tauferer Ahrn valley, the most northernmost valley of South Tyrol, which, to the delight of its visitors, has retained its original charm to this day. Even just approaching the valley towards Bruneck, with its narrow and steadily rising lane surrounded by steep mountains, is a spectacular experience. As you enter the Ahrn valley, you see Taufers castle, sitting there as if protecting the valley. Just behind the castle’s well-preserved walls the valley, at only 40 km long, begins. An unspoilt South Tyrolean landscape with lush meadows and woods, beautifully framed by the magnificent summits of the 80 majestic 3,000 metre mountains. A mountaineering experience that even excites adrenaline junkies; there is no other South Tyrolean region that offers as many extreme sports.
You can feel at every turn that the Tauferer Ahrn valley is something very special, where traditional customs have been retained to this day and the traditions are really lived. Your holiday in the Tauferer Ahrn valley, in unspoilt nature will be a delight.
