Where you can tell the time by looking at the mountains ...
Haus Schmiedhofer lies in the S. Vito district of Sesto, away from the main road and just 15 minutes' walk from the village centre. The eye is drawn to the flower beds in front of the house and then to the imposing Sexten Dolomites, particularly the 'Sexten Sundial'. There are hikes starting right on your doorstep, but a bus stop, a cross-country skiing run and Helm and Waldheim ski lifts are not far off, too.
Katherina can look back on 25-year experience in the business and puts her heart and soul into receiving guests. She provides guests insight into South Tyrolean cooking and is always ready with a hiking tip or two to help guests choose from the ample range of walks. A shoe dryer, ski room, trekking poles and a store room for bikes will meet the needs of active holidaymakers both in summer and in winter. The German and Italian language house library contains lots of information on places to visit and hikes.
Each guest receives a small gift at the end of their stay in Haus Schmiedhofer to help them savour their memories of their holiday in Sesto.
