Haus Peer lies amidst peace, quiet and sun in the centre of the village of Burgusio, a district of Malles. Shopping, restaurants and public transport connections may be reached in a few minutes. Views of the Benedictine Abbey of Marienberg, the castle of Fürstenburg and the beautiful mountains of the Upper Venosta Valley with the Ortler, Königsspitze and Cevedale mountains may be enjoyed from the large house terrace.
Marianne has been running the business for over 35 years and continues to put her heart and soul into it. She dedicates herself to taking care of her guests so that they feel at ease in the family atmosphere of the place. The generous range of regional and local products (gluten-free if desired) for breakfast contributes towards this: eggs from the neighbouring farm, cheese and butter from Burgusio dairy, fruit from Venosta Valley and home-made jam and cake.
There are lots of hiking options in the surrounding area – Marianne is always ready with a few tips and also offers guided hikes in the mountains. The small house library affords an insight into the cultural sights of the Venosta Valley and informs guests on worthwhile excursions in the local area.

Something curious takes place in the Upper Vinschgau valley on the first Sunday in Lent. Men and boys brave the cold and, armed with branches, wooden disks and rope, meet on a hill in the village. They wait expectantly for nightfall so that they can ...
