Humility
Striving upwards
risen from the sea,
steeped in legend,
praises extolled in song,
where raw grey rock and dainty Alpine flowers meet,
this poem comes from my soul.
You proud mountains in pale robes
majestic rocks known as the Dolomites,
you magnificent peaks encased in rock,
emblem of solemnity and eternity,
I humbly sink before you,
in awe of nature's creation.

(Ines Visintainer)

Ask the private landlords and landladies about their feeling with the Dolomites.
